It is possible to earn a full time income with Utility Warehouse. It won’t necessarily be easy, but it is certainly possible. Most potential customers will be resistant to signing up even though UW is very price-competitive and has exceptional quality service… people simply don’t like being sold to.

- Core payments for signing up customers
- Residual income for customers who stay with UW
- Customer bonuses for achieving targets
- Payments for recruiting and supporting new partners
Other incentives from Utility Warehouse
- Sign up enough services and you could qualify for a break in the UK or abroad
- UK break / Brussels
- Iceland
- Sign up enough people and you could qualify to get a car.
Core payments for signing up customers
Utility Warehouse offers 4 core services:
- Energy (gas and electricity)
- Broadband
- Mobile
- Insurance
Partners are paid based on signing people up for services and the more services customers take, the more commission is earned.
Earnings are also different depending on whether the customers are homeowners or tenants. UW pays more upfront for homeowners, but takes longer to start paying for residual income for those customers.
Payments for homeowners who sign up
Number of core services taken | Core payment | Months before residual payments start getting paid |
1 | £50 | 24 |
2 | £100 | 30 |
3 | £250 | 60 |
4+ | £300 | 60 |
Payments for tenants who sign up
There are only 3 core services for tenants because tenants don’t get boiler cover or home cover.
Number of core services taken | Core payment | Months before residual payments start getting paid |
1 | £10 | 12 |
2 | £20 | 12 |
3+ | £50 | 12 |
Important information
- If customers who sign up with you subsequently take other services through UW, you will not be paid for the additional services.
- You will not be paid at all for energy when signing up people who have only prepayment meters. At least one energy type must be on a credit meter.
- Additional items taken as part of a core service do not increase the number of core services. For example, a person taking 2 mobile sims instead of one will not be counted twice. It will be classed as taking one core service.
Residual income
Residual income is paid for customers who stay with UW, so look after your customers 🙂
It is usually between 1% and 6% of the customer’s bill each month and is paid after a certain period of time. It is paid more quickly for tenants who sign up as customers to compensate for the lower upfront core payment. Please see the tables above.
